Do you want to refresh and transform your space with new furnishings such as a new coffee table and side table or new dining chairs and table? As you can see from the photos below we were able to do just that for a Toronto couple and their living room condo and a Newmarket couple and their dining room. You may be wondering how our interior design process works. If so read on!
All our packages begin with a consultation. The next phase for most packages includes a planning phase that includes drawings, followed by the implementation phase as outlined below.

Lynterior’s Redecorating Process
Phase #1-Consultation(s)
- Includes an in-home personalized consultation in order to find out your dreams for each room and/or problems that you need solutions for in each room, One of the purposes of the meeting is to find out the scope of service or number of rooms that will be redecorated and define your needs or uses for the room(s).
- This meeting is to find out your style and colour preferences for your dream room, to find out about your lifestyle, and how you want to feel in your home. A questionnaire will be sent out to you asking questions about your preferences and so on that will help me help you with your project.
- This is the time for you to show inspirational photos of rooms and furniture styles you dream of having.
- This meeting includes a discussion about your investment in the project.
Phase #2-Planning (or Concept Design Formation Phase)
This phase is about planning what needs to be done. Since it is a redecorating project it will include planning furniture and perhaps accessories for the space. The plan or design involves something called the design concept based on your style and colour preference and the furniture that can fit in the space and so on.
How it Works:
1. A furniture layout floor plan is designed which shows the placement of furniture.
2. A perspective drawing may be drawn too. So you can experience how the room will look with the furniture in it. It can be difficult to visualize what your room or home will look like from architectural drawings alone. The 3D renderings take all the guesswork out of it!
3. Recommended fabric samples for the furniture and custom window treatments and photos of light fixtures etc. are brought to you to feel and decide and choose. A mood board is created so you can see how item in the room both new and old can be seen together. There will be an itemized list of costs for the above purchased items.
4. You may love everything Lynteriors chose. If so great then you can move on to the next phase. If not that is okay. Other items more to your liking can be chosen instead based on your feedback. Design is a process and needs to be collaborative. It is after all about your dream rooms.

Phase #3- Implementation
This phase is about ordering, delivering, and installing the furniture and accessories that will transform your space into your dream space!
How it Works:
- Lynteriors project manages the orders, installations and deliveries.
- Delivery and installation of your items into the right place takes place now too.
The result is your dream room(s)!

Example of a Redecorating Project
One of the owners of the redecorating project featured on this page gave Lynteriors a kind testimonial which is below. Their redecorating project involved all new furniture in their dining room. In their family room a new loveseat was purchased. Most of their existing furniture was kept in their family room. And they received a discount on their furniture that they bought thru me.

“Lynn worked with my ideas that I had and was wonderful with her suggestions of furniture changes and lighting too. She took us shopping and was so helpful with the details. When our order arrived she came over to make sure everything was as expected. Lynn is wonderful at seeing the potential of your space.”
